The fragmented remains of a banked field system of possible Iron Age or Roman origin are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within and to the east of Hill's Copse, Puddletown. The features cover an area of over 10 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

The fragmented remains of a banked field system of possible Iron Age or Roman origin are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within and to the east of Hill's Copse, Puddletown <1>.
