Monument record MDO48612 - Prehistoric field system, Lord's Down, Burleston

The fragmented remains of a bank and ditched field system are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs to the northern end of Burleston, west of Lord's Down. The features cover an area of over 40 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. The features form part of a much larger field system which extends to the east (MDO48611), and south (MDO48613).
