Full Description
The fragmented remains of a bank and ditched field system are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs to the northern end of Burleston, west of Lord's Down <1-6>. The features cover an area of over 40 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. The features form part of a much larger field system which extends to the east (MDO48611), and south (MDO48613).
