Summary

The fragmented remains of a rectilinear field system are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs within Milborne Wood, Dewlish. The field system covers an area of over 18 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it forms part of a much larger field system which extends to the south in records (MDO48609), (MDO48611), and (MDO48612); and to the north in MDO48650.

The fragmented remains of a rectilinear field system are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs within Milborne Wood, Dewlish <1-2>. The field system covers an area of over 18 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it forms part of a much larger field system which extends to the south in records (MDO48609), (MDO48611), and (MDO48612).
