Full Description
The fragmented remains of a bank and ditched field system are visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs to the north of the A354 <1-4>. The features cover an area of over 32 hectares and extend from the northern end of Lord's Down into the southern end of Milborne Wood, Dewlish. The field system was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project and forms part of a much larger field system which extends to the north (MDO48610), south (MDO48611), and southwest (48612).
