Summary

A system of post medieval water meadows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to either side of the Dewlish Brook, west of Lower Crawthorne. The features cover an area of 125 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. They extend to the south into Puddletown and Burleston to either side of Devil's Brook see MDO48608.

Full Description

A system of post medieval water meadows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to either side of the Dewlish Brook, west of Lower Crawthorne <1>. The features cover an area of 125 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. They extend to the south into Puddletown and Burleston to either side of Devil's Brook see MDO48608.
