Summary

Two ditches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of The Bungalow, Cheselbourne. They are possibly the southern and northeastern sides of a rectilinear enclosure 90m across and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project

Full Description

Fragments of a small sub-square ditched enclosure are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Manor Farm, Dewlish <1>. The enclosure is 27m by 31m across and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project; it lies 100m to the northwest of another enclosure described in MDO48572 and is considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman date.
