The enclosure is 61m by 40m across and has a southeast facing entrance leading into a possibly trackway. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

An oval ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the northeast of Burleston Down, Burleston <1>.
