Summary

An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east of Hill's Copse, Puddleton. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. Three other hollows are visible on lidar within the same modern field; they are all considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits.

An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east of Hill's Copse, Puddleton <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. Three other hollows are visible on lidar within the same modern field; they are all considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits.
