Full Description
Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south east of Milborne Wood at the eastern end of Dewlish parish <1>. They are in close proximity to an Old Chalk Pit marked on the OS 1st edition map and are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits. They were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
