Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map to the east of Park Hill, Dewlish <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. A second smaller hollow is visible on the lidar in the same modern field to the north east of the first, and a third to the south in the adjacent field; they are all considered likely to be 19th or early 20th century extractive pits.
