Monument record MDO48507 - 19th or early 20th century extractive pits, Park Hill, Dewlish

An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map to the east of Park Hill, Dewlish. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. A second smaller hollow is visible on the lidar in the same modern field to the north east of the first, and a third to the south in the adjacent field; they are all considered likely to be 19th or early 20th century extractive pits.
