Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 5th edition map within Park Hill, Dewlish <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. A second hollow is visible on the lidar to the south midway between this hollow and the chalk pits described in MDO48477; they are both considered likely to be 19th or early 20th century extractive pits.
