An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map at Tolpuddle to the northeast of Hill Barn. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. Three smaller pits are visible on the lidar in the same modern field.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map at Tolpuddle to the northeast of Hill Barn <1>.
