A Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map at Tolpuddle to the west of Hill Barn. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. A second smaller pit is situated to the south.

A Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map at Tolpuddle to the west of Hill Barn <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. A second smaller pit is situated to the south.
