Summary

An unanotated hollow is marked on the OS 2nd edition map to the west of Chebbard Farm, Dewlish. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. It is considered likely to be the site of a 19th or early 20th century extractive pit. A second smaller pit is situated to the north of the first.

An unanotated hollow is marked on the OS 2nd edition map to the west of Chebbard Farm, Dewlish <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. It is considered likely to be the site of a 19th or early 20th century extractive pit. A second smaller pit is situated to the north of the first.
