Summary
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of the A354 to the west of Milborne St Andrew. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. A second larger pit lies to the north which is marked as an unanotated hollow on the OS 2nd edition map.

Full Description
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of the A354 to the west of Milborne St Andrew <1>. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project <2>. A second larger pit lies to the north which is marked as an unanotated hollow on the OS 2nd edition map <3>.
