Full Description

A sub-circular mound on Weam Common Hill, Cerne Abbas, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is approximately 7m in diameter and is located at the end of a probable Iron Age/Roman field boundary, part of a wider field system (MDO48409). It could possibly be a small Bronze Age bowl barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
