Summary
Several regular linear banked features in a field to the northwest of Piddletrenthide are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features overlie the end of an area of medieval strip lynchets (MDO48386) and might be field boundaries of later medieval to post-medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.

Several regular linear banked features in a field to the northwest of Piddletrenthide are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features overlie the end of an area of medieval strip lynchets (MDO48386) and might be field boundaries of later medieval to post-medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle Valleys AIM project.
