Summary

A sub-circular ring ditch on Tenant's Bottom to the south of Alton Pancras is visible as a cropmark on a 1995 aerial photograph. The feature is considered to possibly be a Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.

Full Description

A sub-circular ring ditch on Tenant's Bottom to the south of Alton Pancras is visible as a cropmark on a 1995 aerial photograph [1]. The feature is 10m in diameter, to include the 1.5m to 2m wide ditch. It is considered to possibly be a Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
