The features are considered likely to be field boundaries of medieval or earlier date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

A series of parallel linear features is visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs in fields to the east of Milborne St Andrew (1-2). The features are considered likely to be field boundaries of medieval or earlier date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
