Summary

Two banked linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery between Deverel Farm and Rough Close Barn, Milborne St Andrew. They fit in with the field system marked on the OS 1st edition map and are therefore considered likely to be field boundaries of medieval or post medieval origin. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Two banked linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery between Deverel Farm and Rough Close Barn, Milborne St Andrew (1). They fit in with the field system marked on the OS 1st edition map and are therefore considered likely to be field boundaries of medieval or post medieval origin. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
