Full Description
Areas of parallel ridged and ditched cultivation features in a field to the west of Eight Acres Coppice, Buckland Newton, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features might be those of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
