Full Description
A wide scatter of approximately 50 pits ranging from 1m to 60m across is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the southeast of Milborne St Andrew (1). They are of uncertain date but are situated in the vicinity of the possible prehistoric boundaries described in records MDO4418 and MDO4419 and a barrow cemetery and may therefore be of prehistoric origin. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
