Summary

A series of strip lynchets is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the northeast of East Barn, Tolpuddle. They are of uncertain date, possibly prehistoric or medieval, and have since been levelled. The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Full Description

A series of strip lynchets is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the northeast of East Barn, Tolpuddle (1). They are of uncertain date, possibly prehistoric or medieval, and have since been levelled (2). The features were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
