Summary

A perfectly circular pit, 16m across, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs 36m to the northwest of the round barrow described in MDO4713. It is potentially the site of a Bronze Age pond barrow and is possibly part of the Roke Down Group. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

A perfectly circular pit, 16m across, is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs 36m to the northwest of the round barrow described in MDO4713 (1). It is potentially the site of a Bronze Age pond barrow and is possibly part of the Roke Down Group. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
