Summary
Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the south east of Longmead, Winterborne Whitechurch. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits, possibly for chalk and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the south east of Longmead, Winterborne Whitechurch (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits, possibly for chalk and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
