Full Description
Four distinct hollows, three with doughnuts of spoil are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the west of Longmead, Milborne St Andrew (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits, possibly for chalk and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
