Full Description
Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery the field immediately to the east of Cayles Down Copse, Milton Abbas (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits, possibly for chalk or flint, and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
