A fragmented series of ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west and southwest of Weatherby Castle (1-4). They are considered to be the remains of a medieval or post medieval watermeadow system and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
