Full Description
A small rectilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the southwest of Longmead, Milborne St Andrew (1). It is 20m across and attached to the northern end of a double-ditched trackway or field boundary. Several ditch fragments which may be parts of other trackways or field boundarys are situated to the west. The features are considered likely to be Iron Age or Roman in date, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
