Summary

The northern half of a possible curvilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Longmead, Milborne St Andrew. It is 52m across east-west with a possible entrance to the north; it has fragments of an outer ditch on the north east side. The features are considered likely to be later prehistoric in date, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

The northern half of a possible curvilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Longmead, Milborne St Andrew (1). It is 52m across east-west with a possible entrance to the north; it has fragments of an outer ditch on the north east side. The features are considered likely to be later prehistoric in date, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
