Summary
A rectilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Longmead, Milborne St Andrew. It is 70m by 52m in size and sits within a larger enclosure. These enclosure are associated with several ditch fragments which may be parts of other enclosures or field boundaries. The features are considered likely to be Iron Age or Roman in date, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.

Full Description
A rectilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Longmead, Milborne St Andrew (1). It is 70m by 52m in size and sits within a larger enclosure. These enclosure are associated with several ditch fragments which may be parts of other enclosures or field boundaries. The features are considered likely to be Iron Age or Roman in date, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
