Summary
The potential site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch 12m across on aerial photographs. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. In 2019 an archaeological evaluation by Cotswold Archaeology revealed part of the ditch of the barrow, and two pits in a roughly central location within the ditch, and interpreted as burials.

The potential site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch 12m across on aerial photographs (1). There appears to be a central pit within the ring ditch. site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project.
