Summary

The possible site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark partial ring ditch on aerial photographs. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. It is one of a large cluster of ring-ditches which is interpreted as the probable remains of a Bronze Age round barrow cemetery.

The possible site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark partial ring ditch 12m across on aerial photographs (1). The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM Project. It is one of a large cluster of ring-ditches which is interpreted as the probable remains of a Bronze Age round barrow cemetery.
