Two sub circular hollow features to the northwest of Up Cerne are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The larger of the two features is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as a chalk pit. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.

Two sub circular hollow features to the northwest of Up Cerne are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The larger of the two features is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as a chalk pit [2]. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
