Full Description
An area of ridged and ditched cultivation to the northeast of Minterne Magna is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are within an area of medieval cultivation features but are comparatively straight and narrow in form and are considered to possibly be narrow ridge and furrow of post medieval date, although and earlier origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
