Full Description
Banked and ditched linear features to the southeast of Lane Cottages, Minterne Magna, are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar and Next Perspectives APGB imagery [1, 2]. The features link into a small stream or sluice shown on the OS 1st Edition map and are considered likely to be part of a post medieval drainage system. The features are clearly visible on 2009 Google Earth imagery [3]. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
