Full Description
Linear banked features in fields to the west of Minterne Magna are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are curvilinear in form and appear to be banks spread by ploughing activity. They underlie the current field pattern but are broadly on the same alignment. They are considered likely to be part of a later prehistoric field system and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
