A concentration of sub circular hollow features on Tenant's Bottom, to the southwest of Alton Pancras, are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
