A sub circular hollow feature to the north of Alton Pancras, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as a flint pit [2]. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
