A sub circular hollow feature on Buckland Bottom, Buckland Newton, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
