A sub circular hollow feature to the south of Little Aldermore Coppice, Buckland Newton, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as an old chalk pit [2]. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
