A sub circular hollow feature on Little Minterne Hill, Minterne Magna, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as an old chalk pit [2]. It is situated within a wider area of chalk pits on Little Minterne Hill, recorded under MDO48000. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
