A sub circular hollow feature along the roadside to the northwest of Manor Farm, Minterne Magna, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is recorded as a sand pit on the OS 1st Edition map [2]. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
