Full Description
Bournemouth North Cemetery opened in 1927. The cemetery spans 10.1 hectares. There is an entrance lodge and a chapel. The burial ground is divided into three sections: Church of England, Roman Catholic and Non-Denominational. The crematorium opened in 1938. There are a wide variety of trees, a yew hedge and a rose garden. There is a war memorial.
The cemetery was considered for inclusion in the Register of Parks and Gardens, but was not added to the Register. (1)
