Summary

Cropmarks of a sub-circular enclosure, possible Bronze Age round barrow amongst a group of barrows of varying size all visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project, it is considered likely to be the site of a large pit of uncertain date.

Cropmarks of a sub-circular enclosure, possible Bronze Age round barrow at SY 7834 9661, amongst a group of barrows of varying size all visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. <1>

The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project, it is considered to be the site of a large pit of uncertain date <1,3>.
