Full Description
Cropmarks of an incomplete curvilinear enclosure of uncertain date, possibly later prehistoric, defined by a single narrow ditch and measuring between 20m and 30m across. It is located at SY 7850 9618 at the edge of a field, the eastern part is truncated by the modern field boundary and cannot be traced in the adjacent field. This site is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. <1>
The site is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. <3>
