Summary

Cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow seen as a single small oval ring ditch, one of a group of barrows of varying size all visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project, it is considered likely to be the site of a pit of uncertain date.

Cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age round barrow seen as a single small oval ring ditch at SY 7831 9661, one of a group of barrows of varying size all visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording programme. <1>

The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project, it is considered likely to be the site of a large pit of uncertain date <3>.
