Summary

In 2005 Wessex Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of land to the rear of Dorchester Post Office proposed for re-development. A number of archaeological features were revealed, including (in evaluation Trench 2) a feature interpreted as being possibly an air raid shelter.
