Full Description

A small probably Bronze Age ring ditch seen as a cropmark on 2007 aerial photography. (SY 8268 9740). <1>

The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. The site coincides with a low hollow on aerial photographs and lidar imagery <3,4>; the 2007 cropmark is therefore probably a reverse cropmark associated with a post medieval extractive pit.
