Summary

Faint cropmarks of an oval ditched enclosure of uncertain date around 35-40m across and defined by a single ditch which is visible on aerial photographs taken in March 2016 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme. There are further faint cropmarks of possible enclsoures to the south-west, in the centre of the field and together these may represent the remains of a settlement . The potential enclosure was recorded during the Upper Cerne and Piddle Valley AIM project.
